Intro

This is a summary of the transfer rumours in the J1 League broken down team by team.

The source for these will either be from published newspaper articles in Japan or from sources I trust (eg Journalist or Japanese agents etc)

I will be updating this page regularly As always, do your own research or ask me if have any questions :)

Rumours

Consadole Sapporo

• Xavier is rumoured to be wanting to return to Brazil

• Ogashiwa has been linked to YFM. He is said to be undecided about the move. Historically has been linked to moves to moves to Scotish and Belgium leagues

• Koroki will return to Urawa after his loan spell

Kashima Antlers

• Shibasaki linked to a return. There has been an emphasis on picking up experienced Japanese players such as Ueda and Shoji

• Misao to transfer to Portugal

• Araki likely to remain at the club for next season

• Players like Everaldo and Bueno at risk of leaving. Depends on their contract but if info is right there contracts expire in January

• Keepers Oki and Yamada also linked to several clubs in J2
  

Kashiwa Reysol

• Already signed Katayama, Tatsuta, Takamine and Diego

• Linked to buying Sento from Nagoya

• Could see more exits of defenders such as Kamijima, Ominami etc

• Hosoya was player of the last year and interest from Europe reported
  

Urawa Reds

• Junker linked to Geona & to MLS. They have the funds to buys him & have been interested in him previously.

• Esaka has been linked with a move away including to Kawasaki. Reported to have had a poor relationship with Richardo Rodriguez (previous manager) so this may have changed now he has left. Now v likely moving to Ulsan

• Iwao has been acquired permanently. Is their main set piece taker

• Ogiwara, Koroki and Sugimoto to return to the side from loans out.

• Iwanami is heavily rumoured to be moving to Qatar

FC Tokyo

• Leandro contract situation unclear. I wouldn't be surprised if he was released.

• Need cover at RB/LB

Kawasaki Frontale

• Isaka Zein, who is currently on loan to Yokohama FC, is likely to leave this window (to J2 side)

• To acquire Kyoto GK Naoto Kamifukumoto as the second goalkeeper

• Offer for Shimizu MF Yuito Suzuki

• Matsui to be loaned out to J2 team?

• Miyashiro, who is on loan to Tosu, will be returning to Kawasaki F.

• Shōgo Taniguchi confirms transfer to Qatar

• Is it close to Yokohama FM DF Makinosuke Hatanaka and Gamba Osaka DF Genta Miura as the successor to Taniguchi who is transferring? [Added on 12/7]

・The candidate for the successor to CB has changed completely, and Kashiwa DF Takuma Ominami has been acquired.

Yokohama F. Marinos

• MF Ryonosuke Kabayama, who is on loan to Yamagata, is permanently transferred to Tosu

• MG Eitaro Matsuda has extended his rental to Niigata for one year

• Tomoki Iwata may be contacted by a German club. Augsburg or Bochum? His agent specialises with moves for players Europe

• Ceara linked to move to C.Osaka

• M.Junior has offers from Brazil teams but also is considering staying at YFM
  

Yokohama FC

• Renofa Yamaguchi midfielder Kazuma Takai to be acquired

Shonan Bellmare

• Midfielder Kosuke Onose, whose contract has expired with Gamba Osaka, has been acquired

• There is no acquisition of GK Iikura

• Mitsuki Saito, who is currently on loan to Gamba Osaka, is looking for a transfer destination outside of her plans?

• Korean GK to reinforce the hole when Tani leaves

• An offer from Belgium to FW Shooto Machino?

• DF Ryo Takahashi to move to J2 club Omiya Ardija

Shimizu S-Pulse

• DF Reine Yamahara and MF Yuito Suzuki will likely transfer to J1 club. There is also interest in europe for Suzuki.

• MF Daiki Matsuoka will remain in the club

• Rumors that Thiago Santana will be transferred to Gamba or Kashima. Sapporo and Nagoya also shown interest

• GK Shuichi Gonda to transfer. Is overseas also a candidate? Kobe also interested. Should see update after World Cup

• Pikachu to return to Brazil on loan

Nagoya Grampus

• MF Keiya Sento to Kashiwa

• Linked to getting a CF in. Looking at Santana though lots of competition

Kyoto Sanga FC

• Move to acquire Kumamoto MF Naohiro Sugiyama

• To acquire a foreign GK as the successor to Kawasaki F transfer GK Kamifukumoto

• Hiroshima DF Iyohari Henry (2022 belonging to Kumamoto) acquired

Gamba Osaka

• Shoji is proceeding with the transfer to Kashima, but is in difficulty due to the transfer fee

• Situation of Genta Miura unclear

• Tani to return to Gamba from Shonan

• Move to acquire Tokushima MF Shirai Nagachi? The new director of Poyatos wants him and other Tokushima players

Cerezo Osaka

• Offered Hajime Kawahara of Roasso Kumamoto.

• Fukuoka's Jordi Crooks very likely to transfer in

• Taggart reported to be leaving (to Perth)

Sanfrecce Hiroshima

• DF Yuki Nogami to Nagoya Grampus

• Tomoya Fujii moving to Kashima. Rumors that team is looking for a successor

• Looking to sign Takaaki Shichi from Fukuoka. Is a LB but could play as LM depending on the system. Doesnt really suit the matrix though

Avispa Fukuoka

• Midfielder Yuya Yamagishi has been approached from various clubs

• Offer to buy Matsubara from Iwata - unlikely to happen, partially due to ongoing transfer ban for Iwata

Sagan Tosu

• Trying to sign FW Daisei Miyashiro with a complete transfer. Frontale also wanting him back. Unclear for now

• Complete transfer offer for FW Jun Nishikawa

• Finishing negotiations to buy Yuto Iwasaki who is currently on loan

• Trying to get Kakita for next season again
  

Vissel Kobe

• Close to signing Thuler on perm deal. Also trying to get Hugo Souza (keeper)

• Reported to be interested in Gonda.

Other

• MF Kyohei Yoshino (from Sendai) transferred. Talk with J1 club in Kanto
