Intro
This GW we see a full J1 league schedule. It has been a busy schedule for most clubs with most playing 3-4 games in quick succession. I expect to see rotation this GW & a lot of the press conferences with the managers have yet to happen making it even more tricky to work out where risk is!
I have made the predicted lineups for games on the Sorare Sharp app which can be found here:
I have also copy pasted the image of the lineups incase you have difficulty accessing the app. I would recommend checking the app though as it will show other options that could play for each player.
Important to note the %s used here and where they are not above 75% it is because I feel there is some risk involved. My main aim with these is to show where risk/potential DNPs are lurking.
I base these %s on info I read from various sources including comments from the manager and reading a lot of local Japanese news coverage/message boards.
These are my own opinion of the situation at each team. I try to be as neutral as possible but we all have biases :) So always do your own research when making picks! I may well miss something but a lot of times its due to lack of information where we get "surprise" DNPs. I will also have more info for players I own as a I naturally check those more actively.
Player Suspensions & Injuries
I have made a new page on the site that has all known player injuries. It can be found here
J1 League GW273
Hokkaido vs Kashiwa
Sugeno and Otani have injuries so I expect Nakano to start this one
Fukumori also not seen in training so cant see him playing here
Miyazawa is back from suspension
Tucic could be pushing for a start here, though in general the manager hasnt used him much of late
No concrete info on Kim so I am assuming hes still out and Sasaki will start in nets here. He was called up to the national team so it doesnt look like a long term injury
Hosoya wasnt injured from watching replays however he did look exhausted and I wouldnt be surprised by Mori starting here
There may well be general rotation in midfield but very hard to work out
Kashima vs Sagan Tosu
The manager hasnt rotated much so I have kept the same team as the weekend. However I can see some rotation risk, especially Tsunemoto, Sekigawa, Izumi with players like Hirose, Bueno, Doi and Alano all pushing for starts
Hwang Seok Ho went off injured last game but it didnt look that serious. However I have Harada starting in his place.
Miyashiro wasnt able to play the last game but is available here. I can see rotation with him and Kakita all looking to start.
Honda I assume is out after not being in the squad last game and potentially is the covid case for Sagan.
Kawasaki vs Shonan
Yamamura expected to replace the suspended Taniguchi
I expect the rested players from the last game to return, including Wakizaka and Damiao
Tanaka has suspected concussion so I see Yonemoto coming in to replace him.
YFM vs Kyoto
Based on comments from Muscat, I cant see Elber being ready for this one
Hatanaka is fit to play and I am confident he will start
Eduardo should partner him but as always, I wouldnt be surprised with a change to Tsunoda here.
Lopes is suspended for this and perhaps for a number of games (TBC by commitee). Ceara is the natural successor upfront.
I expect Nishimura to start but not certain of his position as he can play in multiple positions.
Shimizu vs FC Tokyo
Ronaldo went off at half time and im not sure the cause. I see him being 50/50 here with Nishizawa or Matsuoka replacing him.
Leandro was surprisingly missing for the previous game and as hes not been seen in training I see him not starting him
I can see Nagai coming in for this one, potentially for Konno or Adailton
Nagatomo looked off the pace in the previous game so wouldnt be surprised if he sat this one out.
Gamba vs Hiroshima
As always, I suggest this excellent blog for more info on Gamba.
Shoji and Pereira had a quite remarkable and embarrassing onfield disagreement. The manager has said the issue has been resolved but I can see Patric coming in for this one. Please note that this lineup is based on the assumed covid cases (Patric, Onose etc) being back in training. These are the notes from Gamba blogs post:
Hiroshima have been impressive and stable in recent weeks. I can see the manager wanting to stic to a very similar line up as last time. At the same time, a lot will depend on the condition of the players & with such a quick turnaround between games & largish squad, I wouldnt be surprised by a few changes. Hard to predict though but check out the app for options available!
C.Osaka vs Urawa
Nishio hasnt been seen in training so I have him out for this one
Shindo is back in full training and either him, Funaki or Toriumi should partner Jonjic at the back
Taggart also went off injured and I see Kato starting this one.
Matsuo has been starting on the bench regularly and I think/hope he starts this one! Koizumi I also see starting this one just about.
Moberg wasnt in the squad last game but I have seen him in training pics so see him starting if fully fit
Kobe vs Jubilo Iwata
Im 50/50 on Iniesta starting this one. Im personally not risking it as my hunch is he is on the bench
No official announcement but Osakao, Makino, Ogihara are all suspected to be injured and I would be careful about using
Ive not seen Suzuki in training hence why hes not in the predicted lineup
Nagoya vs Fukuoka
I have Soma starting this one after scoring off the bench
I see it as a coin toss between Sento and Abe starting, though Silva could well be at risk too
Finish
I hope you found this useful!
